The word ‘season’ is used to describe an undefined period of time. It means that the period of time will end at some point and be replaced by a new season. whether it’s a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ season, it is fleeting and it’s important to recognize the beautiful and joyful things around us. The turning season is a kinetic sculpture made mostly of wood, lumber and plywood. Each animal is found in some area of Utah, sometimes wearing their winter clothes. Like a season, this project was temporary.
